What we do
TMS 3D Machining Inc. is a CNC machine shop in the Morningside Heights industrial area of Scarborough. Customers send us drawings of the metal parts they need. We build the CAD models and CNC programs in-house, machine the parts, check them against the print, and hand them over, either at the shop or shipped to your dock. Order sizes run from a single prototype to production batches in the thousands.
How we work
Every job starts with the drawing. We review it before quoting, and if something looks off, a missing dimension, callouts that contradict each other, a tolerance that will make the part needlessly expensive, we raise it with you before metal is cut. The quote you get includes a price and a lead time we intend to keep, and if your deadline is not achievable, you hear that before you commit.
Because the CAD and CAM work happens in-house, next to the machines, revisions turn around fast and drawing questions get answered by the people actually making your parts. On repeat production work, your program, setup notes, and drawing revision stay on file, so a repeat order is an email with a quantity, not a project restart.
Who runs the shop
TMS is family-run. The person who quotes your job, the person who programs it, and the person who machines it are not three departments passing tickets, they are the same small team in one building. That is why straight answers are the default here: there is no sales layer between you and the shop floor.
Where we are
The shop is at 33 Casebridge Ct, Unit 2-3, Scarborough, ON M1B 3J5, just off Highway 401 in east Toronto. Most of our customers are in Toronto and the GTA, and we arrange shipping for everyone further out. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-6pm. Closed weekends.
